Dressage: Riders 11 years and under 1st Jan 2011 Prelim 4 (2002) all season. Juniors and Seniors have choice of either or both tests

On the 'day rate' members effectively pay £4 per class including levy

All Lead Rein Handlers and Showing Grooms must have Associate Membership at a reduced membership fee of £5 per year

Entry per day £16 (Second Pony £9), max 5 classes, extra classes £3 each. One class only £4.50 Two classes £8. Levy £4 per competitor per show

All Ages: As at 1st January 2011

Spurs: Are only allowed in classes 4, 5, 6, 7, 27, 29, 30, 39, 41, and Dressage

Whips: Maximum length of 30" in all S/J and W/H classes

The committee reserve the right to cancel any class if fewer than 4 entries are received, in this case applicable entry fees will be refunded. Classes will not be run with less than 2 entries.

S/J & W/H heights are at judge’s discretion, & subject to ground conditions.

Trophies: Perpetual trophies will be presented to 3rd place at the Annual Presentation evening, with rosettes for 4th, 5th and 6th places. These will be competed for throughout the season on a points system. (Games, one set of points cover all 3 games).

Rosettes and points awarded to 6th place. 1st - 6 points , 2nd - 5 points , 3rd - 4 points , 4th - 3 points , 5th - 2 points , 6th - 1 point

Points will be awarded for the Supreme and Reserve Overall Championship on the best Show Jumping class, best Working Hunter class, best Dressage class, best Style & Appearance class, best Games & Handy Pony class, where “best” means “most points awarded on that day if entered in more than 1 class per discipline”.

In the event of a tie on points, the highest place will be given to the member who has attended most Club Shows.

Members must attend THREE shows to qualify for trophies.

STYLE AND APPEARANCE 9:00am
Class 1 - Not exceeding 13.2hh
Class 2 -  Exceeding 13.2hh not exceeding 14.2hh
Class 3 - First ridden (Not ex 12.2hh, rider 10 years and under)
Class 4 - Exceeding 14.2hh
Class 5 - Open ridden Cob
Class 6 -  Coloured horse/pony (judged under Style & Appearance rules)
Class 7 - Ridden Mountain & Moorland. To be shown in natural state
Class 8 - Lead rein (Not ex 12.2hh, rider 9 years and under)
Class 9 - Tack & Turnout (horse/pony or rider not to have entered Style & Appearance classes)
(Rider and horse/pony combination may enter any two of classes 1 to 8)

IN HAND (To Follow Style & Appearance Classes)
Class 10 - Child Handler, handler 12 years and under. If there are more than 12 entries the class will be split
Class 11 - Open mare or gelding all heights
Class 12 - Mountain & Moorland. To be shown in natural state
Class 13 - Best condition horse/pony, age of horse not exceeding 15 years
Class 14 - Best condition horse/pony, age of horse exceeding 15 years 

MOST APPEALING PONY Open To Non Members. £2.00 Entry fee
Horse/pony or rider not to have entered classes 1 to 9, or 30 to 42. Pony to be shown in natural state. Trophy to winner.

HANDY PONY 11:00am to 2:00pm
Class 15 - Lead rein (Rider 9 years and under)
Class 16 - 10 years and under
Class 17 - 11 to 12 years
Class 18 - 13 to 15 years
Class 19 - Handy horse 16 years and over

JUMPING  9:30am
Class 20 - Lead Rein jumping (Rider 9 years and under) [1’6"] (To be held over a shortened course of 4 to 6 jumps)
Beginners Classes 21, 22 & 23 not open to horse/rider combination who have won a red rosette in any jumping class, at any RRC or other show, in previous seasons.
Class 21 - Beginners jumping not exceeding 13.2hh rider 11 years & under. Open to Lead Rein competitors [1’9"]
Class 22 - Beginners jumping not exceeding 14.2hh. [1’9"] (Not open to rider & pony who have competed in class 21)
Class 23 - Beginners jumping exceeding 14.2hh [2’]
Novice Classes 24 & 25 not open to horse/rider combination who have won 3 red rosettes in Novice or a higher level jumping class, at any RRC or other show, in previous seasons.
Class 24 - Novice not exceeding 14.2hh [2’3"]
Class 25 - Novice exceeding 14.2hh [2’6"]
Class 26 - Intermediate not exceeding 14.2hh [2’9"]
Class 27 - Intermediate exceeding 14.2hh [3’0"]
Class 28 - Open not exceeding 14.2hh [3’0"]
Class 29 - Open exceeding 14.2hh [3’3"]

Competitors undertake a timed jumpoff immediately after completing a clear first round, or at the discretion of the Showjumping Judge, non clear competitors may also do so where there are only a small number of entries to a class. Listen for instructions.

Show jumping faults are :- Knockdown = 4 faults, Refusal = 4 faults, Dismount or Fall = 9 faults, 2nd Refusal, Fall or Dismount = elimination.

Riders and Horses/Ponies may only enter 2 Show Jumping classes. Horses/Ponies only to compete once in any Show Jumping class.

Beginners and Novice S/J horse/rider combination may only enter Cradle Stakes, Nursery, Beginners or Novice W/H.


WORKING HUNTER 9:30am
Class 30 - Ridden Hunter
Class 31 - Lead Rein. Rider 9 years and under. [1'6"]
Class 32 - Cradle Stakes. Not exceeding 12hh Rider 10 years and under (Open to Lead rein competitors off lead rein) [1’9"]
Class 33 - Nursery Stakes not exceeding 13hh Rider 12yrs and under [2’0"] (Not open to riders who have entered in class 31)
Beginners Classes 34 & 35 not open to horse/rider combination who have won a red rosette in any W/H class, at any RRC or other show, in previous seasons.
Class 34 - Beginners. Not exceeding 14hh. [1'9"]
Class 35 - Beginners. Exceeding 14hh. [2'0"]
Novice Classes 36 & 37 not open to horse/rider combination who have won 3 red rosettes in Novice or a higher level W/H class, at any RRC or other show, in previous seasons.
Class 36 - Novice not exceeding 14hh [2’3"]
Class 37 - Novice exceeding 14hh [2’6"]
Class 38 - Intermediate not exceeding 14hh [2’9"]
Class 39 - Intermediate exceeding 14hh [3’0"]
Class 40 - Open not exceeding 14hh [3’0"]
Class 41 - Open exceeding 14hh [3’3"]

All horses/ponies in W/H classes must be plaited or hogged, with the exception of pure bred mountain and moorland.

Open and Intermediate W/H horse/rider combination may only enter Open or Intermediate S/J classes.

Riders and Horses/Ponies may only enter 2 Working Hunter classes. Horses/Ponies only to compete once in any Working Hunter class.

GAMES
Three Games In each age group. To follow Most Appealing Pony class.
Class 42 - Lead Rein (Rider 9 years and under)
Class 43 - 10 - 12 years
Class 44 - 13 - 15 years
Class 45 - 16 - 20 years
Class 46 - 21 years and over

DRESSAGE 10:00am - 3:00pm. (Judged under BDA rules)
Class 47 - Juniors 11 years and under. Prelim 4 (2002)
Class 48 - Juniors 12 to 15 years, Prelim test.
Class 49 - Seniors 16 years and over, Prelim test.
Class 50 - Juniors 12 to 15 years, Novice test.
Class 51 - Seniors 16 years and over, Novice test.
